The flavescent warbler is a species of bird in the family Parulidae, the New World warblers. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Paraguay, and Venezuela. Its specific epithet and English name derive from the Latin flaveolus meaning yellowish.
